TN Scientific is committed to helping you beat your hangover! The Hangover Pill includes a premium, 13-ingredient formula that contains multiple vitamins and minerals geared towards helping you replenish your vitals after a long night out! Read on to learn more in-depth about Calcium!

Calcium is essential for building strong and healthy bones!

Growing up here in America, I was always told to drink my milk to grow up strong. This may have been a ploy to get me to drink my milk, but it's true! All dairy products contain high concentrations of Calcium! Seaweeds- such as kelp, hijiki, and wakame- as well as nuts, seeds, beans, figs, broccoli, spinach, tofu, and even dandelion, contain Calcium as well!

The body doesn't produce calcium, so it's up to you and your diet to give it the amount it needs! This varies depending on your age group! Children 4-8 years old need 1,000 MG a day, while kids and teens from 9-18 years old need 1,300 MG a day. Adults 19-50 years old should intake about 1,000 MG a day.

If you're deficient, it might be for a few reasons! Postmenopausal women have been known to experience a deficiency because their bodies don't absorb it as well anymore. Lactose intolerant people- those who are allergic to dairy products- are also subject to having a lack of Calcium. Also, if you're vegan or evo-vegetarian, meaning you eat eggs but no dairy products, you may find yourself deficient.

Deficiency is hard to spot at first because there are no short-term symptoms. Our bones store calcium and slowly release it into our bloodstream, so it's hard to tell when our diet isn't getting us the calcium we need. Long term effects can include low bone mass, osteoporosis, which leads to easily fractured and broken bones. You can have numbness or tingling sensation in your fingers, convulsions, and abnormal heart rhythms that lead to death. However, it's very uncommon to have a calcium deficiency, and these symptoms usually only happen in those with other serious health problems.

In our article "Hangovers: The Basics" we explain how alcohol acts as a natural diuretic, meaning it gives you an increased production of urine. When you end up going to the bathroom multiple times throughout the night, you lose out on a lot of your vitamins and minerals. That's why The Hangover Pill by TN Scientific includes a dose of all your B-Vitamins, Vitamin C, Magnesium, and Calcium. We also included 5 all-natural supplements that are traditionally known in many cultures to be hangover remedies! Look for our other articles on each of these ingredients to learn more.

Taking a specialized vitamin supplement before you go out and after your last drink can greatly reduce the severity of your morning-after symptoms. The more vitamins you lose, the more imbalanced and weak you can feel the day after.

Therefore, TN Scientific has created The Hangover Pill. Take one dose of The Hangover Pill before your first drink, then another dose after your last. The number of capsules you take each dose will depend on the directions printed on the side of your bottle label. The Hangover Pill will restore the balance of vitamins in your body and lighten your hangover symptoms!
