TN Scientific's reagent drug testing kits provide a  user-friendly solution for evaluating the relative purity of drugs and substances by detecting common adulterants. Additionally, our reagent test kits are perfect for authenticating samples, ensuring safety, and delivering accurate results.

Our BZD reagent provides a straightforward method for detecting benzodiazepines in samples, effectively identifying a broad spectrum of benzodiazepine molecules such as diazepam, pyrazolam, triazolam, nitrazepam, flunitrazepam, diclazepam, clonazolam, clonazepam, flualprazolam, flubromazepam, and etizolam. However, it's important to note that while we have not received reports of false positives for these substances, some variability has been observed with different alprazolam pharmaceutical brands, occasionally resulting in false negatives.

Given the feedback from our customers using the beta BZD reagent, especially with various brands of alprazolam, it's evident that factors out of our control may interfere with the test, potentially leading to false negatives. It's essential for users to understand that this testing method can guarantee 100% accuracy across all scenarios. Consequently, we urge caution and awareness regarding the possibility of false negatives.

Our BZD reagent is designed with safety in mind, where false positives—though rare—pose no harm to users. Despite its limitations with certain alprazolam brands and potentially other benzodiazepines, we believe in its value for safer substance use, enabling informed decisions and supporting community well-being.

It's important to note that if you test a legitimate benzodiazepine and it doesn't turn purple or yellow, that doesn't necessarily mean the substance isn't a benzodiazepine. While our reagent can produce different shades of pinks, purples, & yellows generally any shade of these colors indicates the presence of a benzodiazepine. We would not recommend using the slight differences in these shades to determine the specific type of benzodiazepine.

If you're testing a pharmaceutical-prescribed benzodiazepine and would like to help us develop this reagent, please consider sharing your results by contacting us through our website's contact form. As a thank-you for your contribution, we'll refund the cost of the reagent.
