Graduations on the Erlenmeyer flasks are APPROXIMATIONS, and are not the ideal container for measuring volumetrics. We have decided to go with the Erlenmeyer flasks because of their excellent flat surface stability. Also, most reagents do well with a good mix/swirl before using, and the Erlenmeyer flasks are ideal for this.
Our Erlenmeyer flasks are made of borosilicate glass. New TN Scientific branded glass will be avalible soon for quality control.
Reagents are light sensitive so keep them in a dark, cool, & dry place. We will be switching away from amber glass because being able to see the reagent can provide valuable information on its degradation.
